The Train Adventure group has days out on the train in Devon and Cornwall, with a journey of no more than two hours each way. The group leader will find out times of trains and prices and will put a notice in the Newsletter and on the notice board at the monthly meetings the month before the journey.
Trips will be in the 5th week of the month, so not to coincide with other group meetings.

Each person is to buy their own ticket and be at the station in time for the train.
(If you have a railcard, the ticket will be a third less.)
Trips will be published here and in the monthly newsletter and suggestions for future trips are welcomed.

Next train trip is to Exmouth with Jurassic 3 hour boat cruise on Friday 29th May 2026. If 15 people go the price will be £10.50, if less than 15 go the price will be £12.50. A cream tea can be booked in advance for £4.50.

Depart Torquay - 09:21
Arrives Exmouth - 10.49

The boat departs Exmouth 2:15pm

Depart Exmouth - 17:56
Arrives Torquay - 19:15

Return fare with Railcard is £9:30. I shall need payment for boat and cream tea (if required) at Aprikls u3a meeting or by 20th April at the latest as Stuart Line Cruises require payment in advance.
