The Scrabble group currently meets 2.00 - 4.00pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month, at The Anchorage Hotel in Torquay. We have approximately 15 members in total, with 8-10 players regularly at each session. That’s fine, but more people would be even better! Are you an experienced player? Please come & join us - it’s always good to have different folk to compete against. That said, anyone completely new to Scrabble would also be very welcome - I’ll be happy to take you through the rules (there aren’t many), with some tips, hints & how the scoring works. We’re a friendly bunch & don’t take ourselves too seriously! Scrabble sets & dictionaries provided. The Anchorage is warm & comfortable with a bar, hot drinks & very good cakes if you’re feeling peckish.
