Knitting Thursday

We meet monthly for 2 hours to knit anything members wish to knit – whether it is for charity, for themselves or their families. Purely for pleasure and relaxation.

The knitting group continues to have a regular attendance of ten people. We all enjoy our knitting and a great deal of chat as well! The group is currently full but there is a second group meeting on the 3rd Wednesday which has spaces.

Quite a few members of the group have been knitting hats for premature babies. The knitted hats are collected and then donated to a local hospital.

Soft toys, baby jackets, cardigans, jumpers and mittens in all variety of colours and textures have been some of our projects in the last few months.
