Please scroll down for a full list of groups. If you want to know more about a particular group, just click on its name to open that group's page, which has a description of the group plus location, access etc. To contact the leader of the group for more information, or to enquire about attending, click on the Group Leader's name, which will take you to a contact page where you may send your question by email.
You may also include a telephone number for a response.
The Group status will show if a group is full, but contact the group leader to see if you can be added to a waiting list, you are welcome to start another one with yourself as the Group leader.

Some meetings are held in members' homes, where disabled access and facilities may not be as you would expect in a public venue. If you have mobility or other special needs, please speak to the Group Leader, and they will do what they can to assist.
Members may be asked to pay an agreed contribution towards refreshments at a Group Leader's home.
Where a room is hired, costs are divided among the group. Members also pay for their own materials, for example: stationary, paints.

Members are invited to host (but not necessarily lead) groups in their own home as it is quite often difficult to find suitable premises. Please contact the Groups Coordinator if you think you may be able to help.

All individuals are expected to be able to take full responsibility for their own participation in u3a activities/events. The Third Age Trust has also extended its liability insurance policy to cover the attendance of a companion/carer if needed. Please speak to the Group Leader to arrange this if necessary.
We encourage car sharing where appropriate, with a contribution to driver's costs.

Paid up members of any u3a may, with permission, attend on payment of £1, and visitors may attend up to 2 meetings (with Group Leader's permission) for a payment of £1 each time.
