The aims of the group were to provide advice, ideas, and mutual self-help to all, whether you are a grandparent refurbishing a train set for your visiting grandchild, an established modeller, or someone new to the hobby. It was for those would like to try their hand at railway modelling but have neither the space or time for a layout of their own, as help was offered. If you have an artistic flair and would like to help with modelling scenery, buildings or the station cat, you would have been most welcome.
