This is important information for all of our members
Firstly, please take a look at these items relating to security and assistance:
In Case of Emergency - steps to take just in case.
Stay Safe Online - tips to assist in your safety and security
Technical Assistance - we will do our best to assist you with your PC, Laptop, Tablet or Smartphone.
Don't be afraid to ask.
Community Welfare - I support members in bereavement, illness and other life experiences by sending cards followed up by a telephone call and being a neutral ear.
The Groups page shows you what groups we currently have and on which day they meet. Click on a group you are interested in, where you can find out more information and contact the leader.
If you are interested in joining a group, first contact the group leader to discuss your interest and to establish that there is a place available.
The Monthly Newsletter (sent by email shortly before the monthly meeting), will give you further information about what's happening, and the website is always your best reference point for the latest information about Meetings, and Groups.
Should you then join, please try to be punctual at meetings, and also to keep commitments that you make as part of the group; if you are unable to attend a meeting, or no longer wish to take part, please let the group leader know so that they do not involve you in activities and are able to offer your place to another member if there is a waiting list.
If your particular interests / skills are not included in the current list, you may like to consider starting a new group - please contact the Groups Coordinator for advice.
When contacting Group Leaders, Committee Members, or other u3a members, please respect their privacy and avoid calling at unsocial hours.
We must draw your attention to our Privacy Policy and the other documents referenced within it. You may also like to take a look at the Torbay u3a Rules.
If you need further advice, please contact the Membership Secretary .
We hope that you will enjoy your membership of Torbay u3a now and in the years to come.
