In July our Speaker slot will be taken by Torbay u3a member Sarah Ballard: Experiences of a “Jeunne Fille Au Pair”. It’s 1966 and a young convent educated girl downsizes her navy blue knickers to begin her stint as an Au Pair in France. She is full of hope and expectations to meet her Captain Von Trapp and his delightful children. She takes off with a bang from Manchester Airport and the rest is history......
